Between the season of saints and Christ the King, November invites us to look more carefully. God’s Kingdom rarely arrives with trumpets. More often, it appears in a shared meal, an offered forgiveness, a welcomed stranger, or an ordinary act of kindness. Perhaps the Kingdom is much nearer than we think.
